Welcome to Barnsley YMCA Archers
Barnsley YMCA Archers is a friendly, members-led club open to archers of any ability and experience shooting any bow style accepted by Archery GB. Members are accommodating and supportive of other members archery needs and are encouraged to take an active part in the running of the club, its events and the maintenance of its facilities and equipment.
We are located in the heart of Barnsley, South Yorkshire, UK. As an officially affiliated club with ArcheryGB, the national governing body for archery in the UK, we take pride in promoting the sport of archery and fostering a thriving community of archers of all skill levels. We are also members to our more local governing bodies, Yorkshire Archery Association (YAA) and the Northern Counties Archery Society (NCAS).

Instead of shooting at a target face, archers aim high into the air towards a flag placed at long distance.
It's challenging, fun and a completely different skill to target archery.
We'll be attending a Clout Session hosted by York Archers on:

This is always a fantastic opportunity to introduce archery to the local community.
