We hope everyone is staying safe and warm as winter weather sets in! Unfortunately, due to the forecasted snow, we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone the final session of our November Beginner’s Archery Course. Safety is always our priority, and we want to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience.

New Date and Details
The final session has been rescheduled to:
📅 Saturday, 30th November
10:00 am to 1:00 pm
📍 Broad Close Farm, Cone Lane, Silkstone

The session will run at the same time and location, and we’re looking forward to seeing you all there for a great conclusion to the course!

What to Do Next

  • Confirm Your Attendance: Please let us know if you’re able to attend on the 30th by replying to the email we’ve sent or contacting us through our website.
  • Can’t Make It? If you’re unable to attend the new date, don’t worry! We’re happy to arrange a catch-up session for you.

What to Expect During the Final Session
The final session will include:

  • A recap of key skills you’ve learned so far.
  • An opportunity to fine-tune your technique with instructor feedback.
  • Fun challenges and activities to put your skills to the test, with balloons, chocolates and sweets!

We’ll also have a short break during the session, so feel free to bring snacks and refreshments.

Looking Ahead
Once you complete the beginner’s course, you’re eligible to join us for regular club sessions! This is a great way to continue developing your skills and become part of the Barnsley YMCA Archers community.
